JEE Main 2026 is the National Testing Agency's computer-based test for B.E. and B.Tech admission. Paper 1 carries 300 marks over 3 hours, Session 2 began on 2 April 2026 and the Paper 1 result came on 20 April 2026. No JEE Main 2027 announcement was on the NTA notices page on 2 October 2026.
For students in Karnataka, JEE Main rarely stands alone. A good rank opens seats at NITs and IIITs through JoSAA and CSAB, while the state quota and COMEDK seats at colleges inside Karnataka are filled through KCET and COMEDK UGET. Many engineering aspirants therefore write all three. The figures here come from the JEE Main 2026 bulletin and notices.
