COMEDK UGET 2026 was a computer-based test held on 9 May 2026 for engineering seats in Karnataka's COMEDK member colleges. It had 180 questions, no negative marking and results on 29 May 2026. COMEDK's site showed no 2027 announcement on 2 October 2026.

COMEDK UGET works differently from KCET. COMEDK fills seats in its member colleges itself, through online counselling by UGET rank, and its site mentions around 150 engineering colleges. One detail trips up architecture applicants: there is no UGET paper for B.Arch, only a valid NATA or JEE aptitude test score. Everything below is from the COMEDK 2026 brochure and notification pages.

How the counselling rounds ran

Counselling is online and rank based: register, upload documents, then fill choices across four rounds. In 2026 the mock round of choice filling opened on 11 July, Round 1 preferences stayed editable until 25 July and the Round 1 allotment came on 28 July. The full process and past patterns are on our COMEDK counselling guide, and students who also applied to private universities can read the Uni-GAUGE counselling page.

To shortlist colleges, see COMEDK engineering colleges in Karnataka and engineering colleges in Bangalore, or read about the B.E. and B.Tech programmes and B.Arch. If you also wrote the national exam, compare with JEE Main, and estimate state ranks with the KCET predictor.
