NEET UG 2026 was held by the National Testing Agency as a re-examination on 21 June 2026, with results on 16 July 2026. KEA allots Karnataka's medical, dental and AYUSH seats on NEET scores, while MCC counsels the 15% All India Quota. NEET UG 2027 dates were not out on 2 October 2026.
NTA's notice of 15 May 2026 announced a re-examination for 21 June, and that paper led to the 16 July result. For a Karnataka student the score then does two jobs. It decides eligibility for MBBS and BDS seats that KEA allots, and it feeds the national counselling that MCC runs for All India Quota seats. The dates and fees below are taken from the NEET UG 2026 bulletin and notices.

How NEET UG connects to Karnataka admissions
KEA says it allots medical, dental and AYUSH seats in Karnataka on NEET scores, using the seat matrix given by the Government of Karnataka. The counselling steps are on our Karnataka NEET counselling guide, and the All India Quota process is on the MCC counselling page. AYUSH aspirants should read the Karnataka AYUSH counselling notes and the courses for BAMS and BHMS.
Kannada is one of the 13 languages the paper is offered in, alongside English, Hindi and ten other languages. To see which colleges your rank can reach, try the NEET rank predictor, then compare MBBS colleges in Bangalore and dental colleges in Bangalore. Engineering and pharmacy seats follow a different route, covered under KCET.
