JSS College of Arts Commerce and Science Nanjangud

JSS College of Arts Commerce and Science sits on a 13-acre campus in Nanjangud, the temple town 23 km south of Mysuru. Founded in 1968 by Jagadguru Dr Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji under the JSS Mahavidyapeetha, the college serves roughly 600 students each year.

BA, BSc and BCom programmes are affiliated to the University of Mysore. NAAC B++ accreditation reflects steady academic standing. Around five acres of the campus are built up with academic blocks, laboratories and a library holding material for both coursework and competitive exam preparation.

Nanjangud's industrial zone — home to food processing, chemicals and textile manufacturing — provides a local employment corridor for graduates. The college draws students primarily from Nanjangud, T Narasipura, Chamarajanagar and rural parts of Mysuru district.
