SJM Institute of Technology

SJM Institute of Technology is an engineering college on the NH-48 bypass in Chitradurga, run by Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeetha since 1980-81 and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. Its self-study report lists five B.E. programmes: mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics, electronics and communication, and computer science. Three M.Tech programmes cover thermal power, structural engineering and computer science. It has AICTE approval and received a NAAC B++ grade in its first cycle, 2013 to 2018.
