RV University

RV University is a private university in Bengaluru established in 2021 by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), which manages 21 institutions serving over 20,000 students across Karnataka. The university operates from a 50-acre campus adjacent to the Pattanagere Metro Station on Bengaluru's Purple Line, with a 42-acre expansion campus announced in Nanjangud, Mysuru for 2026.

The university offers 35+ programmes across nine schools: Computer Science & Engineering, Business, Design & Innovation, Law, Liberal Arts & Sciences, Film Media & Creative Arts, Economics & Public Policy, Allied Healthcare Professions, and Continuing Education. RV University holds UGC recognition and Karnataka SHEC affiliation, with 40% of B.Tech seats filled through Karnataka CET (code E285).

Placements for the 2025 batch recorded a highest package of INR 43.5 LPA and an average of INR 8 LPA, with recruiters including Deloitte, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Capgemini, Infosys, Bosch, and KPMG. The university's 60,000 sq ft library spans four floors and provides access to EBSCO, JSTOR, and IEEE digital repositories. Over INR 10 crore in merit scholarships were allocated in 2023-24, benefiting around 500 students.

International collaborations include joint degree programmes with Arizona State University and partnerships with Bryant University, Seattle University, and Teesside University (UK). RV University also has a media education partnership with Hombale Films. The Outlook Rankings placed RV University 1st among emerging state private universities in 2025.
