College of Horticulture Mudigere

College of Horticulture, Mudigere, established in 1976, is a constituent college of the University of Horticultural Sciences (UHS), Bagalkot, located in Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district — at the foot of the Western Ghats in Karnataka's primary coffee-growing belt. The college offers B.Sc Horticulture with a curriculum uniquely designed around the plantation crops that define this region: coffee (arabica and robusta), cardamom, pepper, arecanut, banana, and floriculture.
