Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is Karnataka's apex technical university, established in 1998. NAAC A+ accredited, VTU affiliates 200+ engineering, MCA, and MBA colleges across Karnataka. The university itself offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D programmes at its Belagavi campus. Named after the legendary engineer Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, it is the backbone of engineering education in Karnataka.
