Shri Bahurao Deshpande Veterinary College Athani

Karnataka first and only rural veterinary college, sanctioned by the Government of Karnataka in 2010 and inaugurated on 11 August 2023. The 211-acre campus at Kokatnur Village sits 18 km from Athani in Belagavi district, in the Krishna river belt known for Krishna Valley cattle and Yalaga sheep breeds.
