Raman Research Institute

Raman Research Institute was founded in 1948 and is an autonomous institute funded by the Department of Science and Technology. Its PhD students, in astronomy and astrophysics, light and matter physics, soft condensed matter and theoretical physics, register for the degree with Jawaharlal Nehru University.
