Ramaiah College of Hotel Management

MS Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (MSRCHM) was established in 1993 and is now the Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT) under Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS). It is the only institution in South India offering an NBA-accredited Hotel Management degree. The college offers a 4-year Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) programme with 120 seats per batch. Annual fee is approximately Rs. 1,68,250. Total course fee is around Rs. 5,20,000 for the complete 4-year duration. Admission is through RUAS Admission Test or CUET-UG scores. Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) with 10+2 and minimum 50% marks are eligible. The curriculum covers Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operations, Housekeeping, Hotel Accountancy, Human Resource Management, and Business Law. The programme includes practical training through On-the-Job Training (OJT) at 5-star hotels, giving students real hotel floor experience before graduation. Facilities at FHMCT include a training kitchen, a restaurant lab, a mock front office setup, housekeeping labs, a library, a medical centre, a cafeteria, a sports complex, Wi-Fi, and hostel accommodation. The campus is located on New BEL Road, MS Ramaiah Nagar, Bangalore. Placement at MSRCHM is handled by a dedicated placement cell. Top recruiters include Hyatt Centric Bengaluru, The Leela, JW Marriott, Taj Hotels, ITC, and Vira International UK. The college has MoUs with Hotel Pride Premier and other hospitality groups for structured industry training.
