About Mysore School of Architecture
Mysore School of Architecture (MSA) is one of the oldest architecture colleges in Karnataka, established in 1958. It offers the 5-year BArch programme approved by the Council of Architecture and affiliated to VTU. As a government institution, fees are significantly lower than private architecture colleges — making it one of the most affordable quality architecture programmes in the state. Mysore's rich architectural heritage — including the Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills temples and British-era civic buildings — gives students unique exposure to heritage conservation and contextual design that few other cities in India can offer.
