About Cheluvamba Hospital and Mysore Medical College
Cheluvamba Hospital is a 400-bed government maternity and child health hospital in Mysore established in 1920 as part of the Mysore Maharaja's public health initiatives. Attached to Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, it provides clinical training in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatrics. It is the primary maternal care centre for Mysore division.
