Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute

Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute began in 1955 as a private medical school run by the Mysore Education Society and passed to the Government of Mysore in 1957. It has been affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences since 1996. The college lists 250 MBBS seats, 280 MD and MS seats across 22 specialities, 16 super speciality seats and nursing and allied health courses, taught at hospitals including Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.
