Architecture Colleges in Karnataka 2026-27
Architecture is one of the most demanding and rewarding professional degrees in Karnataka. A 5-year B.Arch programme combines technical, artistic and management skills suited to careers in architecture practice, urban planning, real estate development, interior design and construction management. Karnataka has 35 architecture colleges, with Bangalore concentrating several of the strongest.
Architecture Admission in Karnataka 2026-27
B.Arch admission requires NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture. NATA score is mandatory for all B.Arch admissions at recognised colleges. NATA tests drawing ability, spatial intelligence, general aptitude and architectural awareness. The test is held twice a year — your better score is considered. Karnataka B.Arch admissions at government and aided colleges go through KEA in addition to NATA. JEE Paper 2 (Architecture) is an alternative to NATA for NIT and some government college admissions.
