I want to study pharmacy. Should I choose B.Pharm (4 years) or PharmD (6 years)? What is the career difference and salary comparison?

B.Pharm is a 4-year degree focused on pharmaceutical sciences and industry. PharmD is a 6-year degree (5+1 internship) focused on clinical pharmacy and patient care. Career difference: B.Pharm leads to pharmaceutical industry jobs (manufacturing, quality control, R&D, marketing) with starting salary Rs 2.5-4 LPA. PharmD leads to clinical pharmacist roles in hospitals with starting salary Rs 3-5 LPA. PharmD has better scope in hospital settings and is recognised internationally. B.Pharm is better if you want to work in pharma companies. Both can do M.Pharm for higher studies.
