I want to study engineering in Karnataka. Should I focus on COMEDK or JEE Main? Which exam is easier and which gives better college options?

COMEDK is generally considered easier than JEE Main in terms of difficulty level. COMEDK covers only Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 12th standard level. JEE Main has a wider syllabus and more conceptual questions. However, COMEDK has fewer seats and more competition per seat in top colleges. If you want NITs and IIITs, you must take JEE Main. For Karnataka private colleges, COMEDK is the primary exam. Most students take both since preparation overlaps. Focus on NCERT plus coaching material for both.
