I want to study law in Karnataka. Should I take CLAT or KSAT? What is the difference and which colleges accept which exam?

CLAT is the national level law entrance for 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) including NLSIU Bangalore (ranked #1 in India). KSAT is the Karnataka-specific law entrance for state law colleges. Key differences: CLAT: national exam, for NLUs, highly competitive (60,000+ applicants for 3,000 seats), covers English, GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques. KSAT: state exam, for Karnataka law colleges, relatively easier, fewer applicants. If your target is NLSIU Bangalore, you must take CLAT. For other Karnataka law colleges, KSAT is sufficient. Take both for maximum options.
