My KCET rank is above 50,000. Can I still get a good engineering college in Bangalore? What are my options?

With KCET rank above 50,000, you can still get engineering seats in Bangalore but not in top-tier colleges or popular branches like CSE in premium colleges. Options: 1) Choose less popular branches (Civil, Mechanical) in mid-tier colleges. 2) Look at colleges outside Bangalore (Mysore, Mangalore, Belgaum have good options). 3) Consider COMEDK — your COMEDK rank might be better. 4) Look at private colleges under management quota (higher fees). 5) Consider diploma and then lateral entry. Good colleges accepting 50,000+ rank: BMSIT, SJBIT, JSSATE, NHCE, SVCE.
