Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research (SSCASR), established in 2004-05, was founded by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar under the Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM) Trust -- the educational wing of the Art of Living Foundation, established in 1999. The college is located at Survey No. 269/270, 21st KM, Kanakapura Road, Udayapura Post, Bengaluru -- 560082, on the serene Panchagiri Hills, directly opposite the Art of Living International Ashram. This campus setting is unique in Indian Ayurveda education -- students study in an environment designed around holistic living, with yoga, meditation, and Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique integrated into daily college life alongside the standard BAMS curriculum. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, recognised by CCIM and NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine -- ranked 7th nationally by NCISM), accredited by NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals), ISO 9001:2015 certified, and awarded QCI (Quality Council of India) Grade A.

BAMS: 100 seats per year. 5.5-year programme. Admission via NEET-UG + KEA Karnataka AYUSH counselling. Government quota annual fee: Rs 28,590. Management quota: Rs 3.5-4.5 lakh/year. Hostel fee: Rs 12,500/year. PG programmes: Basic Principles (4 seats), Dravyaguna Vijnana (5 seats), and other specialisations. PG admission via AIAPGET. The attached teaching hospital is fully equipped with OPD, IPD, and Panchakarma units, providing clinical training. The college also runs community health camps (Ayur-Jagruti awareness campaigns) and rural health outreach programmes -- giving students exposure to public health and preventive Ayurveda beyond hospital training.

A genuinely distinctive feature: an in-house R&D centre that produces Ayurvedic formulations under its own brand and conducts evidence-based research, giving interested students hands-on pharmaceutical and formulation research experience. Guest lectures and academic events through Acharya Parishad bring national and international Ayurveda scholars to campus.
