Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), established in 1993, is promoted by the SDM Educational Trust -- the educational wing of the 700-year-old Dharmasthala Temple institution, led by its visionary chairman Dr. D. The trust runs over 40 educational institutions including engineering, medical, and dental colleges across Karnataka, including SDM College of Ayurveda Hassan and SDM College of Business Management Mangalore.
