Presidency School of Law Bangalore

Presidency School of Law is a constituent school of Presidency University, Bengaluru, a private university established by Karnataka State Act No. 41 of 2013. The law school commenced operations in 2015 and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Presidency University holds NAAC A+ accreditation and features in the QS World University Rankings: Asia (1001-1100 band).

The school offers five-year integrated programmes: BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), and BCom LLB (Hons.), along with a two-year LLM and a doctoral programme in Law. These programmes cover constitutional law, corporate law, intellectual property, criminal law, international law, and human rights law through a combination of classroom teaching, case study analysis, and experiential learning.

Located on Presidency University's 100-acre campus at Itgalpur, Rajanakunte, Yelahanka, the law school shares world-class infrastructure including a central library, digital classrooms, sports facilities, hostels, and cafeterias. Dedicated law facilities include a moot court hall, legal aid clinics, and access to legal databases for research. The university has tie-ups with over 100 institutions across 35 countries.

Students gain practical exposure through internships with government agencies, law firms, nonprofits, and corporate legal departments. The Presidency Launchpad Association, the university's technology business incubator, supports students interested in legal-tech entrepreneurship. Founded by educationist-philanthropist Dr. Nissar Ahmed, the Presidency Group traces its roots to a school established in 1976.
