National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bangalore is India's first National Law University and consistently ranks No.1 in the NIRF Law Rankings. Established in 1987, it pioneered the integrated 5-year BA LLB programme in India. Admission is through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) — the most competitive law entrance in the country, with NLSIU typically requiring a rank in the top 50-100.
