About Government College of Teacher Education Dharwad
Government College of Teacher Education Dharwad is one of Karnataka's oldest government teacher education institutions, established in 1961. Affiliated to Karnataka State University and approved by NCTE, the college offers B.Ed at one of the lowest fee structures in the state. The college serves teacher education aspirants from Dharwad, Gadag, and surrounding North Karnataka districts. Faculty includes experienced teacher educators with strong backgrounds in pedagogy and educational psychology. Graduates are well-placed for government school teacher posts through TET and CET exams.
