About Government College of Pharmacy
Government College of Pharmacy Bangalore is the oldest and only government pharmacy college in Bangalore city, established in 1957. Affiliated to RGUHS and approved by PCI, the college offers B.Pharm and M.Pharm programmes at significantly lower fees than private colleges. KCET cutoff is high due to limited government seats and strong demand. The college is located in Rajajinagar and has well-equipped pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and pharmacology labs. Graduates are well-placed for government pharmaceutical department and drug control officer posts.
