Basaveswara Medical College and Hospital

Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital was founded in the 2001-02 academic year by SJM Vidyapeetha on the SJM campus along the NH 48 bypass in Chitradurga. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission. The college offers MBBS and allied health sciences programmes, with 21 clinical and pre-clinical departments and super speciality services in cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology and urology.
